Tears of joy as Omoni wins BON award

A-list actress Omoni Oboli has added another feather to her cap. After the role she played in the wave-making movie, “Anchor Baby” which  is still the talk of town, she  was the queen of the BON awards night.

Apart from having the honours of presenting the Best Child Actor award to her son, Tobe Oboli, Figurine female lead had cause to climb stage to receive two awards. By the time she went up stage to receive the Sunlight fresh and clean actress of the year award, she broke down in tears saying, ‘this is the best year of my life’.

She attributed her achievements to her husband who is not afraid of having a popular wife but keeps pushing her to do more. Winning the  category came with a washing machine, $10, 000 prize money and a week all-expense-paid trip to Dubai.
