KSA AT THE LAFARGE GALA NIGHT

The Oriental Hotel in Lekki Lagos was set alight with glamour and glitz penultimate Tuesday when captains of industry and some prominent royal fathers came converging to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lafarge Cement WAPCO Nigeria.

Just when everyone thought the night could not get any better as it was as colourful and cheery as best as it could get then the king of Juju music, King Sunny Ade walked into the lobby of the hotel.

Forget the number of eminent Nigerians that have walked in that night. Forget the number of royal fathers that have come in to attend the gala night the sight of the Juju maestro changed the atmosphere immediately as nearly everyone became ruffled and charged with high expectation that indeed a splendid conclusion to what has been a wonderful night has arrived. But their expectation that KSA had come to entertain guests with his brand of Juju melody began to wane when he made his way to a table to sit like other guests invited to enjoy themselves.
For being someone who does not attend parties or social functions for the fun of it unless he has been paid to ply his talent Society Plus decided to probe further on why KSA was at that gala night. Our investigation revealed that  the King of Juju was there not as a mere invitee but  as an investor who holds sizeable share in the company.
